i was too tired to post yesterday ): plus i don't have the photos yet either. ugh. but yesterday was a blast at vivo :D i thought the whole CAT would be there. sadly, i went there with misscomputer - i asked her along - only to find 3 other members + p. lingyu, cheryl and nada turned up. glad i wore CAT tee, 'cause both lingyu and cheryl came in that straight after training. wonder where the rest went to? questioned lingyu and she said they went off to "play". ahwell. and it's also because i turned up in CAT tee that now i'm being hounded :/ bummer, if i'm clear i don't have anything to fear. so there.
thankfully misscomputer brought her camera :D 'cause i didn't bring one. wow, and i thought one photo would be that difficult to get. in the end, we took so many photos.. and so did the camera/videomen there. so much so that OUR PICTURE APPEARED IN TODAY'S STRAITS TIMES! :D :D page S33. that is off the chain! haha. the four of us even managed to speak to the man himself. mannn, it's carl lewis in the flesh <3 all of us got high after getting his autograph. tsk, i can't wait for misscomputer to upload the photos! :D
then, there was this shoe-designing thing. so one of the organisers approached misscomputer and i, asking one of us to sit next to carl lewis and design our own shoe. wow, if we win the competition, the shoe will be CUSTOM MADE for us! :D so i went. and yes, designed the shoe. main colour code? YELLOW & BLUE, cedar colours :D :D
but well, honestly my favourite runner is still australia's cathy freeman :D here's how she looks like, in case you don't know. haha. it's a pity i haven't got the chance to meet her yet.
after all the hype, i went to boon keng station at 5. we had the briefing for standard chartered singapore marathon that's taking place tomorrow :D YELLOW is helping the Special Olympics runners. yay, that's going to be fun. haha, found out we're working with ACS(I) as well. mhmm. BUDDY and i are in the same group! :D go FORT ROAD. tsk. when the briefing ended, we went to the playground and saw emo people on the swing. bummer ): we couldn't get a chance on it then. we were quite high till talk of some ahlian thing brought spirits down and for a moment there was this uneasy silence. ahh, so we decided to go home.
there's yf pre-camp special today at gardens. i can't wait :D haha, it's going to be fun. then dinner with cindy :D
