I was hoping you’d show me something
What you gave me was black
And I’m giving it back
And you haven’t changed
And I wasn’t lying, I wasn't lying
What you gave me was black
And I’m giving it back
And you haven’t changed
And I wasn’t lying, I wasn't lying
(This was supposed to be yesterday's post but I was too tired after reaching home at 11plus, post-concert.)
TAY YINXUE of Cedar Girls' Secondary won the NYJC Singing Competition "The One" organized by the 30th SC. She rocks to the maxxx! ♥
During the concert the Cedarians + all other Yinxue supporters were being so high and everything :] Only 'cuz Yinxue's really really good! She has a Voice of Gold, and will serenade you, I swear. The sound will just penetrate right through your chest and melt that heart of yours, that you'll be compelled to vote for her (in every other competition). It's almost - dare I say - hypnotizing D:
Anyhoo, had a helluva time and my crazy idea of running up on stage when Yinxue won was quite well pulled off. For one, people around school now look at us Blue & Grey beings in a much different light - we are high & hiiiigggghhhhhh :]
Photos uploaded onto Facebook; access 'em via the link on the right-hand side column!
Rushed home after the concert with Joshua 'cuz it was my Mom's birthday. Had to make up for when I'd pangseh-ed him earlier on in the day by pon-ing PE and going out with his OG Mates instead. (Weird, huh?) Heh D: Rachel dearest went, so I followed her! And Fernando was around too, hah.
When I got home, my Mom was half-asleep already. Mehhhh, had to get her more alive for our Birthday Song, photo-taking and cake-cutting. Just since I always do this ceremoniously for people,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MOM! :]
